    Food will be available. Kae Mendham has kindly offered to pay for the food. A donation will be requested from the attendees, to help offset the costs.

    Tonbridge Model Railway Exhibition.
    The Tonbridge Model Railway Club is holding its exhibition at the Angel Centre (a few minutes walk from the Olde Chequer Inn) from 10.00am to 5.00pm.

  • Swale CAMRA 50th Anniversary Saturday 21 February 2026 12:00 Park Tavern, Sittingbourne

    Swale CAMRA branch was inaugurated at the Park Tavern, on Tuesday 17th February 1976.

    Everyone is cordially invited to their celebration event. It starts at 12.00pm with press photographs at 1.00pm.

    If you have any archive material from inception through the years then please bring it along on the day so we can take a photograph if possible.

  • Margate Social Trail Saturday 28 February 2026 12:00 Around Margate

    A social outing to lesser known, new and completely familiar pubs in and around Margate, with plenty of options for food and even going off piste

    We start furthest from the railway station, a little walk to get a bit of a thirst on -

    • 12:00: Rose in June, 49-50 Trinity Square, CT9 1HT.
    • 13:00: George & Heart, 44 King Street, CT9 1QE.
    • 14:00: Henry's. 52 High Street, CT9 1DT.
    • 14.45: Fez. 40 High Street.
    • 15:30: Two Halves. 2 Marine Drive, CT9 1DJ.

    From here, there is the option of off-piste visits to the Harbour Arm, Xylo's and Little Swift.

    • 16:45: The final official stop on our Grand Day Out is: The Mechanical Elephant. Marine Terrace CT9 1XJ

    If there are still thirsts to slake, venues to tick off, from the Mechanical Elephant, walking towards the station, at the Westbrook end of Margate along the Canterbury Road, there are both the Shakespeare and then a bit further on, the Ales of the Unexpected.

    All as you wish - join us anywhere on our Trail, dip in, dip out, join us for the entirety.

    There are plenty of places for food, culture, views, slot machines, photo opportunities and the world famous Crab Museum.

    It is Margate after all. How can you possibly miss this? Members and Non-Members - All Welcome.

  • Five Bells' 18th Annual Beer, Cider & Music Festival Friday 3 – Monday 6 April 2026 Five Bells, Eastry

    The Five Bell's, Eastry will be holding their 18th Music, Beer & Cider festival over the Easter weekend, raising money for two charities: Josh's Gold Star Fun (childhood leukaemia) and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

    Featuring real ale, real cider and lots of music and entertainment.
