  • 16th SPA Valley Railway Real Ale & Cider Festival 2026 Thursday 15 – Sunday 18 October 2026 SPA Valley Railway, Tunbridge Wells

    All aboard for ales, ciders, Kent Green Hop beers, live music, and heritage trains!

    There'll be around 200 real ales, 40 Kent Green Hop beers, 14 keg beers, and 70 ciders,

    Card-carrying CAMRA Members are eligible for a 25% Discount available at Ticket Offices.

  • Time & Tide Rising Tide Craft Beer Festival 2026 Friday 16 – Saturday 17 October 2026 Canterbury Cathedral Lodge, Canterbury

    Back for its third year, the festival, curated by Time & Tide Brewing, brings together some of the UK’s most exciting independent breweries in a truly unique setting.

    50+ beers; high-quality street food with a focus on local produce; DJs in the Lodge Auditorium; spacious seating areas throughout the venue.

  • Folkestone Social Visit Saturday 17 October 2026 12:30 East Cliff Tavern, Folkestone

    Train to Folkestone Central from Westgate-on-Sea, via Ramsgate. Leave Westgate at 10:18. Change at Ramsgate for the 11:08 arriving at 11:55.

    It’s a bit of a walk from the station, so no complaining!! One option is the 104 bus from Folkestone Central Railway Station (Stop A) at 12.16, arriving London Street at 12.29. Then a 3 minute walk to East Cliff Tavern.

    • 12:30 – 13:15 at the East Cliff Tavern.
    • 13:30 – 14;30 Firkin Ale House
    • 14:45 – 15:45 Bouverie Tap
    • 16:00 – 17:00 Samuel Peto (Spoons - Recently refurbished.)

    Trains home 18:03, 19:02.

    These are four interesting and generally very good pubs well worth a visit.

    Folkestone has plenty of opportunities to go off piste. Particularly The Old High Street and the Harbour Arm are buzzing arty and trendy. There is also the Potting Shed Micro in Hythe but it is a bit of a bus hop. Loads to do; plenty of food stops.

    What is not to like?

    Annual meeting of branch members to reconfirm existing committee officers, elect officers to vacant posts and review the year's activities & events.

  • Branch Christmas Social Saturday 5 December 2026 Montefiore Arms

    This year's Christmas Social will be held at the Montefiore Arms, Ramsgate at 12.00 noon for a 12.30 start.

    Please come and join us for what is always an enjoyable and convivial afternoon to celebrate the forthcoming festive season. A range of interesting food will be provided and the pub promises to showcase a nice selection of quality cask ales.

    Those attending the event are asked to make a modest contribution of £5.00 towards the food. Please email Damien ku.gro.armac.tenaht@namriahc if you plan to attend so that we know how many people to cater for.

  • Time & Tide Brewery Tinsel Town Xmas Beer Fest & Fair 2026 Friday 18 – Sunday 20 December 2026 St. Mary's Arts Centre, Sandwich

    Time and Tide Brewery are hosting a Christmas Beer Festival in the beautiful St Mary’s Art Centre in Sandwich, with craft beer, wine, cider, soft drinks and festive hot food. On Sunday, there'll be Christmas stalls to browse and buy.

    Times:

    • Friday: 4.00pm - 10.00pm.
    • Saturday: 12.00pm - 10.00pm.
    • Sunday: 10.00am - 1:00pm. Bar open during licensing hours.
